The dataset reveals that the USA is the kingpin concerning the technology sector and is followed by the North American region in terms of Tech innovation. Names such as Microsoft, Alphabet (Google), Apple, or Adobe stand for the predominance of the United States in the IT Software & Services sector and are attributed to the high DIB scores and excellent rankings that acknowledge the companies’ efforts in inclusivity.
Interestingly, the dataset indicates the region of East Asia and the Pacific, especially from China and Taiwan, has a large representation of companies. Big names like Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, and ASUS which are illustrated in the figure indicate the region’s skills in Hardware and IT Software & Services.
